Derek started D1 Appliance Repair in order to deliver a superior level of service and expert appliance repair to customers throughout NW Indiana. Through the years Derek has grown the company to include full time technicians that are experienced in repairing refrigerators, ovens, stovetops, ranges, dishwashers, freezers, washers and dryers and even garbage disposals!
Derek is a native to NW Indiana, being born and raised in the Lake County area. He is committed to excellence in his professional, personal and family life and strive to set a good example for his daughter by building a business the whole family can be proud of.
Camille Van Marie Directo
Secretary, Personal Assistant
Camille is a highly organized and detail-oriented administrative assistant with over 18 years of experience providing excellent customer service, supporting clients, and managing office operations. She is proficient in calendar management and document preparation. She handles confidential information with discretion.
Camille is a single mother who loves abstract painting and doing miniature arts and crafts. She loves teaching basic and competitive swimming to kids and adults during her free time.
Adam Tegtman
With over 15 years in the appliance repair industry and a journeyman’s license, Adam is a seasoned professional known for his patience, reliability, and innovative problem-solving skills. Organized and proficient, he ensures top-quality results on every project. Outside of work, Adam enjoys spending time with family, watching movies, listening to music, working out, and following sports.
