Derek started D1 Appliance Repair in order to deliver a superior level of service and expert appliance repair to customers throughout NW Indiana. Through the years Derek has grown the company to include full time technicians that are experienced in repairing refrigerators, ovens, stovetops, ranges, dishwashers, freezers, washers and dryers and even garbage disposals!
Derek is a native to NW Indiana, being born and raised in the Lake County area. He is committed to excellence in his professional, personal and family life and strive to set a good example for his daughter by building a business the whole family can be proud of.
Morgan Gelet

In Spanish we call Morgan, “La Voz” which translates to “the voice”. According to Morgan herself, she loves working in her Pj’s from home😊
She is a dedicated mother of 3 and a great multi tasking administrative element to D1.

Stewart Thur is local to NW Indiana. He is a quick learner, problem solver and committed to great customer service.
Stewart has an extensive background in electrical and mechanical work, giving him the expertise to diagnose and repair just about any problem with any type of appliance.
